 Bank Act Searches -

 A Bank Act Search determines whether a Notice of Intention to give security has been filed with the Bank of Canada  in Ontario under the Canada Bank Act, Sec. 427. It indicates whether any banks have taken a security interest in the  inventory and/or equipment of a corporation or an individual.  

Bankruptcy & Insolvency Records Search -

 A Bankruptcy & Insolvency Records Search is completed with the Government of Canada and will reveal if an  individual or corporation has filed for bankruptcy in Canada. Details of the bankruptcy will also be obtained and  provided. 

 Bulk Sales Act Search -

 A Bulk Sales Act Search is conducted with the superior court of justice to determine if a Bulk Sales Affidavit has  been filed. The search is conducted in the court jurisdiction based on the location of the assets being sold. 3-year  searches are conducted, and summary report is provided.  

 Litigation (PVT) Searches -

 A Litigation (PVT) Search is conducted on an individual or business name going back 10 years. Searches can be  conducted in the Ontario and Superior court levels to include small claims, court of appeals, federal court, tax court  of Canada, commercial list and estates courts. A summary report (PVT) will be provided outlining key information  on any cases found.

An Ontario Land Title Search – Name / Instrument / PIN  

Ontario Registered Document Search -

Ontario Registered Document Search can only be obtained by way of registration number which can be found on a  copy of the title search.  

Personal Property Securities Act (PPSA) / Lien Search -

A Personal Property Securities Act (PPSA) / Lien Search (Ontario) is conducted to reveal loan or lien information  regarding individuals or corporations. Search provides information about valuables that have any outstanding loans  on them. These valuables include any goods with serial numbers, including motor vehicles, mobile homes, trailers,  boats, and aircraft.   

Writ of Execution Search -

A Writ of Execution Search (Ontario) is completed through the Ministry of the Attorney General (MAG), Writs of  Execution database. If an execution (writ) exists a summary printout will be provided. The Writ report is only a  summary of the execution and not the actual court documents. This may also be obtained for an additional fee.  individual or corporations exact legal name is required for search.
